Location: City Centre Drive between Celebration Square and Mississauga Civic Centre.
10K start time: 7:30 am
Half Marathon & Novo Nordisk ‘Hazel’ 5K start time: 7:40 am
Tims Trot: 11:00am
*No kit pick up or registration on race day
RACE KIT PICK UP
Location: Mississauga Civic Centre, 300 City Centre Drive.
When you pick up your race kit, be sure to take in the highlights of Mississauga Civic Centre including the Great Hall, with marble and granite columns rising more than three stories, to a 20-metre-high glass skylight; and the domed ceiling of the Council Chamber, which pays tribute to Mississauga’s historic villages and First Nations’ tradition. Wander through the public Art Gallery of Mississauga which features works by local and national artists.

Parking: There are 2 entrances to underground parking for Mississauga Civic Centre and Celebration Square. Avoid parking at Square One as the lots are monitored by mall security and for shopper use only. The lot on the corner of Rathburn and Duke of York (P6) is accessible for participants during kit pick up and on race day.
The Mississauga Half is looking forward to welcoming all participants as the excitement of the race ramps up. All participants must come to race kit pick up to collect their race package to be ready for race day. Participants will be required to present their bib number, which will be sent by email a week prior to the race, and photo ID.
If you are unable to make it to race kit pick up you can have someone pick up your race kit for you. They will need your bib # and a copy of your email confirmation (printed or on their phone).
Participants will receive their ASICS technical shirt, bib and kit bag.
RACE DAY
Bag Check
A secure, dry bag check is available free of charge in a large tent in Celebration Square. Remove the tear-off tag from the bottom of your race bib and pin to the bag you are checking. Please leave valuables at home.
The baggage tent will open at 6:00am.
Road Closures
We do our very best to minimize disruptions to the community and with an event of this nature safety of the participants and volunteers is essential. Road closures are inevitable however with some pre planning and a little extra time you can minimize the disruption for yourself.
- All road closures are in effect Sunday April 30, 2023.
- 7 am to 11 am Burnhamthorpe Rd all westbound lanes are closed between Hurontario and Erin Mills Pkwy.
- Northbound and southbound traffic will not be permitted to cross Burnhamthorpe between Hurontario and Erin Mills Pkwy. Hurontario and Erin Mills Pkwy are best options for north/south travel.
- Eastbound lanes on Burnhamthorpe will remain open between Promontory Cres. and Hurontario.
- The intersection of Burnhamthorpe and Mississauga Rd. will be closed in all directions.
- 7 am to 9:30 am Missississauga Rd. will be closed northbound from Dundas St. to Burnhamthorpe. Southbound will remain open for local traffic to only to exit the Sawmill Valley Dr. area.
- St. Peters Church driveway will remain open – you must approach from the east on Dundas or the west on The Collegeway. No left turn permitted at Mississauga Rd. in the eastbound lanes at Dundas.
Race Weekend Parking
Here is a handy guide to parking garages near the start/finish. Please note some of these locations may not be available due to road closures IE Living Arts Centre, Central Library and Civic Centre.
A short walk to the start line, the lot (Square One – P6) at the corner of Rathburn Road and Duke of York, is available to participants on race day.
Other locations for race day parking are;
33 – 55 and 77 City Centre Dr.
2 – 3 and 4 Robert Speck Parkway
Host Hotel
Hyatt Place Toronto/Mississauga, located at 5787 Hurontario St, is less than 6km from Celebration Square. Mississauga Half participants can book accommodations here.

Half Marathon, 10K & 5K Non-Cash Awards:
Non-cash awards are given to the first 3 women and first 3 men overall and masters, and the first 3 in the non-binary category. No age group awards.
Results
Chiptime Results is the official timing company of the Mississauga Half. All race distances will be timed (except the Trot). All awards are based on Gun Time only – not Chip Time. Results will be posted here.
Prize money is paid roughly 3-4 weeks after the event unless the athlete had been selected for doping tests as required by World Athletics in which case the payment will be processed after we receive notification that there were no findings associated with the test.
Mississauga Half complies with the programs in place by Athletics Canada (AC), Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport, World Athletics and the World Anti Doping Agency (WADA).

Medical Tent/Physio/Massage Tents
The medical tent will be located alongside the chute, along with Physio.
The massage tent will be within Celebration Square near the stage.
Post Race Food Tent
Those with a bib will be welcome in the post race food tent.
Baggage Tent
In order to collect your bag you’ll have to show your race bib that matches the tag on your baggage.
Photography
Marathon Photos Live will be the official photographer capturing the excitement on race day. You may opt in to receive emails and photos from Marathon Photos Live when you register or on your Race Roster Participant Dashboard.
